For Nine Nights This Spring: What Happens with Phish in Vegas . . . Well, "You Know"
The Return of Vermont’s Native Sons to the Desert
Vermont’s own Phish has officially confirmed their return to the Las Vegas desert for a significant residency at the Sphere. According to an announcement from the band, the group will perform nine shows over three consecutive weekends in the spring of 2026.
This engagement marks a major expansion from their debut at the venue. While their first run in 2024 consisted of four sold-out nights, this upcoming series more than doubles that count. The residency is scheduled to kick off on April 16–18, continue the following weekend from April 23–25, and conclude with a final trio of shows from April 30–May 2.
Ticketing and Travel Packages
For Vermonters planning the trek West, the ticket process has already begun. A ticket request period is currently underway and will remain open until Monday, December 8, at 12:00 PM ET. Following this lottery-style request phase, remaining tickets will be released to the general public on Friday, December 12, at 2:00 PM ET.
In addition to standard admission, travel packages bundling hotel stays with concert tickets will go on sale starting Wednesday, December 3, at 1:00 PM ET.
A Venue Unlike Any Other
The Sphere is distinct from the traditional arenas Phish plays on the East Coast. The venue is defined by its cutting-edge technology, most notably the Sphere Immersive Sound system. As described in technical reports, this system utilizes “beamforming” technology, which allows audio to be directed with laser-like precision to specific seats, ensuring that every fan hears the same mix regardless of their location in the venue.
Visually, the interior of the venue is wrapped in the world’s highest-resolution LED display. This 16K screen surrounds the audience, creating a fully immersive environment that can simulate anything from the depths of the ocean to outer space.
Building on a “Game-Changing” Debut
Phish was only the second band in history to perform at the Sphere, following U2. Their debut run in April 2024 was widely noted for utilizing the venue’s unique capabilities to their fullest extent.
During those initial four nights, the band and their creative team delivered unique visual themes for each performance, pairing their signature improvisation with massive, high-definition animations. Reports from the 2024 shows described an experience where the “jams stretched past expected limits,” supported by visuals that transformed the concert hall into an entirely different world. The 2026 run promises to leverage this same technology on a larger scale.
