WILLISTON, VT – A driver was reportedly threatened with a machete during a terrifying road rage incident on Williston Road near Taft Corners on Thursday morning. The event, which occurred between 8:46 a.m. and 8:50 a.m., has prompted a call for public assistance.
According to a social media post from the victim's partner, the driver was on her way to work when a tan Subaru Outback began driving aggressively and attempted to force her vehicle off the road. The situation escalated when the male driver of the Subaru allegedly brandished a large knife or machete out of his window.
The victim was left "absolutely terrified and feared for her life," the social media post stated. While physically unharmed, she is reportedly very shaken by the traumatic experience.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s with dirty blonde hair and visible tattoos or scars. The vehicle is a tan Subaru Outback with a Vermont license plate, of which the partial plate number "KFH" was noted.
