Wait, chicken?

McDonald's Big Mac has just completed testing a new Chicken Big Mac in Britain, and it was a hit! Now the new sandwich is rolling out in the U.S., first in the Miami areas to see if southern Floridians like the chicken patty as much as the Brits.

"We're always looking to give our fans more ways to enjoy the classic menu items they know and love," the fast-food chain told CBS MoneyWatch on Friday in a statement.

The full recipe is two crispy tempura chicken patties, sauce, pickles, shredded lettuce, and American cheese on a sesame seed bun, which received "rave reviews" in Britain according to McDonald's.

"While not everything we test makes it on our U.S. menus, we'll use this time to gather feedback from both customers and restaurant crew as we consider opportunities to offer more delicious options in the future," McDonald's said in its email.

The big question is: will it play in Pittsford, or Poultney, Pawlet, Peacham, or Plainfield? We'll have to be patient.
