NBC5 reported "in a video posted to the UVM Division of Student Affairs' Youtube channel on Oct. 26, 2022, UVM officials said they have discovered 76 instances of vandalism since the 2022 fall semester began. The school has spent over $100,000 in repairs.
Caloiero said some of that damage has included broken ceiling tiles, destruction of student ID scanners in dorm entryways, and even once instance where the door was ripped off of an elevator."
