The Bennington Police Department is making people aware of an especially dangerous and lethal brand of Fentanyl being distributed in and around Bennington.
Members of the Bennington Police Department and Bennington Rescue have responded to five (5) overdose calls since Monday, April 2, 2023.
Many of the overdoses are the result of people using Fentanyl with the brand stamps of "DOMINOS" and "HALLOWEEN" on the drug packaging.
Bennington Police have FREE Harm Reduction Bags available located in the lobby of the Bennington Police Department.
These bags contain Narcan, Rapid Response Drug tests-Fentanyl Testing Strip, Personal Protection Equipment(PPE), Recovery Literature and contact information.
Harm Reduction bags are also available at United Counseling Service, Turning Point and the Vermont Department of Health.
